Memorandum of understanding was signed between Kazakhstan's Green Party "BAYTAQ," the Atomic Industry Development Association (AIDA), and the Association "Parasat Entrepreneurs Alliance"

On December 20, 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed in Astana between Kazakhstan’s Green Party “BAYTAQ,” the Atomic Industry Development Association (AIDA), and the Public Association “Parasat Entrepreneurs Alliance” to foster cooperation and the development of nuclear energy.

The memorandum aims to advance nuclear energy, strengthen collaboration, and promote initiatives in innovation, environmental responsibility, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. The document outlines the exchange of professional knowledge and consulting on key issues of mutual interest.

Who are the parties behind the agreement?
🔹 The Green Party “BAYTAQ” – the only Green Party in Kazakhstan and a leading representative of the environmental movement, actively promoting green technologies and sustainable energy.
🔹 The Atomic Industry Development Association (AIDA) – a key institution driving the development of the nuclear sector, combining advanced international practices with the expertise of Kazakhstan’s nuclear and energy industries.
🔹 The Parasat Entrepreneurs Alliance – a platform that facilitates the creation of favorable legal and economic conditions for Kazakhstan’s innovative industrial development and unites entrepreneurs across the country.

The parties intend to join forces to utilize AIDA’s expertise in developing nuclear energy and coordinating the sustainable and innovative growth of the nuclear sector. The “BAYTAQ” Party will focus on promoting green energy and environmental initiatives, while “Parasat” will support increased local community engagement and the creation of favorable legal and economic frameworks for implementing modern technologies.

The signing of the memorandum marks a significant step in consolidating efforts to develop Kazakhstan’s nuclear industry and ensuring a sustainable future for the country in light of the upcoming construction of a nuclear power plant.
