AIDA is the only independent industry association in the Republic of Kazakhstan that brings together business, the scientific community, and international partners to develop the national nuclear industry and to facilitate the localization and integration of Kazakhstani companies into the global nuclear supply chain
The Atomic Industry Development Association (AIDA) was established in May 2024 as a non-profit incorporated organization (NPIO) registered at the Astana International Financial Centre.
Given the pivotal importance of the civil nuclear industry’s continued development for the Republic of Kazakhstan’s sustainable economic growth and energy security, the creation of AIDA was driven by the absence of a unified platform to promptly align advanced industry expertise with international best practices, and to represent and safeguard the shared interests of entities within Kazakhstan’s nuclear and energy sectors.
The Association’s mission is to foster the development of a sustainable, safe, and technologically advanced nuclear industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan by bringing together businesses, experts, international partners, and the professional community.

AIDA is developing a network of contacts with leading foreign nuclear institutes to exchange expertise in the civil nuclear energy sector. Its activities incorporate recommendations and international practices from the IAEA, OECD/NEA, ISO, and IEC.

Создание AIDA - это большой шаг к построению площадки для координации деятельности участников атомной отрасли Казахстана, что является жизненно важной задачей в свете глобального “возрождения” атомной энергетики и ее ключевой позиции в достижении энергетической безопасности и устойчивого экономического роста Казахстана.
